 Palermo has an international airport (Falcone Borsellino) at Punta Raisi, and it's far 30 Km from the city center.

From the terminal to the main train station is possible to use the connection "Trinacria Express“ of Trenitalia. www.trenitalia.it

Tickets may be purchased at the airport or train station, and must be validated before boarding.

Itinerary: Aeroporto, Piraineto, Francia (Palermo), Notarbartolo (via Notarbartolo), Orleans (Università), Vespri (Ospedale Civico), Stazione Centrale (via Roma).
